About Colegio Internacional Aravaca
Colegio Internacional Aravaca, founded in 2008, is a bilingual, private, co-educational and secular school.
It follows the Spanish Education System and offers all educational levels, from the age of two through to university.
Candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB).
The school’s mission is to produce principled students who are committed to society, who understand and live in a multicultural environment and who know they can adapt to change. They accept responsibility for their own learning and are ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Our fundamental guiding principle is our awareness that not all students learn in the same way nor at the same pace.
We promote neuronal stimulation in the earliest stages of education by using active methodologies. These focus on student motivation and participation to express and compare their opinions. Teamwork and problem solving are essential qualities in real life situations. We also have a considerable sports programme.

Students and teachers are passionate about learning. It provides an environment of hardworking individuals with the drive and motivation to succeed. Its staff is amazing and always supportive of their students. We moved abroad and my son was prepared for the new challenges. His English level was so competitive that he was able to start classes with no need of ESL support.

Our son went to Internacional since childhood and throughout primary school, the year in which we moved our residence to the United States for work. The study methodology and the English she learned were essential for her integration into this change. I am convinced that our son's academic success abroad is largely due to the solid foundation he brought from his years at the International. For us it is the perfect school, with a balance between academic demands and child development. The teachers were always there to support and find solutions to any situation that might arise. After 3 years in the United States, we are now returning to Spain and one thing is certain… our son will return to the Internacional.

My experience with this school is fabulous. Very good academic level in all the subjects taught, but above all the level of English that the students acquire, both spoken and written. The teachers are very well prepared not only in terms of knowledge but also in the personal and educational treatment with the children. I can corroborate what was said above because I currently have three children attending different levels and I observe it day by day. Apart from how happy and excited they go to school every day.

Because of my work, I collaborate daily with many schools in Madrid and I have to say that the Aravaca international is without a doubt a 10 in all aspects. They instill great values in their students, their bilingual teaching model is spectacular, and their staff is exemplary. Especially Valle Ramos with whom we have worked closely and she is a charming person and a magnificent professional. Congratulations for the good work you do.

Meterme en este colegio fue la mejor decisión que pudieron tomar mis padres. El trato tanto con los profesores y el resto de personal del colegio como entre alumnos es increíble. Desde que somos pequeños trabajamos con distintas dinámicas como proyectos y aprendemos no solo a memorizar si no también otras habilidades como hablar en público mucho más necesarias para nuestro futuro laboral. Además nos preparan fenomenal para la EVAU. Si pudiera volver a empezar yo no dudaría en volver a este colegio.
