The British International Schools of Stavanger (BISS) comprises 3 schools - BISS Pre-School, BISS Gausel and BISS Sentrum.They share a common goal, to deliver a high quality, challenging international education that aims to create the role models for the future. BISS provides IB education for both expatriate and permanent residents residing in south west Norway.
The British International Schools of Stavanger was founded in 1977 and is recognised for its high quality provision and holistic approach to education. The school is truly international and currently has over fifty nationalities on roll.
BISS's top priority is to prepare students, whatever their background and length of tenure in Norway, for success and to achieve contentment in their future lives.

How would you rate British International School of Stavanger (BISS)?
First things first, have experience of preschool not of primary and secondary school. They have parents meeting where there is no discussion just one way communication. There is this specific teacher wants to live in denial mode. Polite kids are not safeguarded from bullying kids. But other teachers are too good, kind and considerate
We attended during three years and in our opinion the Organization and Administration has been going worse and worse quickly during the last year since they became Freskole. Communication between parents and Administration is extremely difficult and impersonal. They became totally flexible for themselves and inflexible for the families. We are happy with the teachers they did a great job.
