About Britannia International School (BIS)
Britannia International School (BIS) is a member school of the Canadian International Educational Organisation. (CIEO).
BIS is a non-profit, co-educational international school in Guangzhou China which offers Cambridge International Curriculum for years 1-11 and British National Curriculum for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). It has an Early Years Section for children aged 3 – 5 years old, a Primary Section catering for Years 1 – 6 inclusive i.e. 5 to 11 year olds, and Middle School Section for Year 7-9 students, i.e. 11 to 14 year olds.
From age 11 upwards, we offer the Cambridge International Board General Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (Cambridge International IGCSEs).
It is anticipated in future years to be offering Cambridge University Board Advanced Level Examinations.
BIS is located on Jinshazhou Island [Gam Saa Zau] in the Baiyun District. The school campus is extensive with ample, fitted-out classroom space which currently includes a Music and Dance facility, a Library and Information Centre, an Art room, a Makerspace /idea lab, laboratory facilities, a football pitch and playing areas.

Good location , great and welcoming staff , my daughter love the school and her teachers. I highly recommend. The food selection is great in the canteen. plus lots of activities
Great staff, excellent communications, my children love their school
The teachers here are very patient. My children have been here for three years. The homeroom teachers in the kindergarten and primary school are all very good native speakers and my children's English has improved a lot here. I am very grateful to BIS.
