About Asker International School (AIS)
Asker International School (AIS) is a new school recently established within the municipality of Asker kommune. The school first opened its doors in August 2013. Starting with 5 grades and expanding vertically every year, the school offers an IB structured curriculum. The school started in 2013 with 39 students and 8 employees.
We now have approximately 320 students and 40 staff employed in either part-time or full-time positions. We are fortunate to have waiting lists for almost all our grades. We are currently registered as an authorised world school in both the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme.
We are also a MOT school and a Dyleksi Norge School. AIS has students and staff from over 40 nationalities within our school community and we look forward to expanding this representation that provides us a truly international environment.

How would you rate Asker International School (AIS)?
This is an excellent school. The teachers are energetic and professional and the students are motivated to learn. There is a safe environment at the school
This is a fantastic place for your children to learn the values of the world. They put pressure on the value of learning independence- which in turn creates independence students who respect each other and the effort they put into their work.
We're very satisfied with this school. Amazing teachers and happy kids.
Excellent staff and ethos!
They teach children to hate Americans for no reason. And male students are oppressed by teachers that support the feminist ideology. They also don’t care about children suffering from bullying. They don’t deal with their own racist staff or racist students.
Racist and sexist teachers who don’t reward hard working students with great ideas. Like to push woke leftist ideologies like lgbtq into the students’ faces and expect students to respect the teachers when the teachers are actually horrible.
Amazing school with very hospitable staff.

It’s alright, but there are much better schools nearby that are free and better.
