Overall

Arcadia Academy will only offer six A-level subjects for the school year 2023-2024 due to a lack of teachers. Subjects offered are mathematics, biology, English, global perspectives, history, and geography; global perspectives is not accepted as a subject by most universities. Due to the lack of teachers, one teacher teaches multiple subjects from different groups. For example, a teacher was teaching IGCSE Spanish, Geography, and Biology as a substitute. Also, another teacher was teaching IGCSE history and statistics, which the teacher admits he studied on YouTube, and also A-level physics. Arcadia Academy for the school year 2023-2024 does not offer A-level chemistry or physics anymore, which are crucial for studying the natural sciences. Also to mention that Arcadia Academy uses old textbooks from 2011. In Arcadia Academy, both the female and male toilets have cameras in them, which are placed in the corner and can look over the first few stalls. Mentioning bathrooms, male teachers and/or supervisors freely come in the female toilet and knock if they suspect there is more than one student in there. Favoritism is also a huge issue in this school. Arcadia Academy offers food that is mediocre at best, which is included in the price of the tuition. One breakfast at around 11 a.m., which was labeled as a snack last year and during which a student can take only two of what they offer (usually a small pastry). So a male 18-year-old student is offered the same portion as a 7-year-old girl. Lunch is just ok, even though they do not offer any variety. Also, students are not allowed to bring their own food or drink other than water, so if the child is a picky eater and/or is hungry during the day, he/she cannot eat anything and cannot ask for more during the snack time. If a parent goes to the principal to complain about the food, the principal says that no one else complained, which is untrue since most parents are in contact and exchange information. The principal asks parents and their children's teachers as a favor to write 5-star reviews to bring the school's rating up. An example is Gojko Ostojic, John Adams, Jasna Bojovic, Ivana Mihovic, and Brankica Markovic, who all work at Arcadia Academy and are part of their team, as you can see on the school's website. Overall, I don’t think that the lack of subjects, teachers, bad food, and all of the other things mentioned above are worth the tuition price that they charge
