Founded in 1966 by the Dubai Petroleum Company and formerly known as Jumairah American School, ASD has a rich and vibrant history.
ASD is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It is the best school. It has amazing teachers and students. It has so many different activities to participate in, like sports, drama and other extracurricular activities. I love attending this school and it has given me an amazing experience. I love all the friends I have made and I would not have changed the time I spent here in anyway

This is the best school in Dubai hands down. Faculty and facilities are top notch as well as the education I received. Teachers make themselves very available to students and I always felt like they were personally invested in helping me and other students succeed... even when I wasn’t the most compliant and easy to teach/help student.

Moving my boys to this school was the biggest mistake of my life. This school has a shallow, spoilt and destructive culture. It did nothing for my boys academically, or socially. On the contrary, it took them backwards. I am so happy I moved them out and now they are thriving in their new schools and doing so much better. This school is not worth the money we paid. I rate them zero (and even minus). Do not be deceived by the material outer beauty of the school.
