Upcoming Open Days
EIFA International School, formerly known as L'École Internationale Franco-Anglaise, is a bilingual, co-educational independent day school in the heart of Marylebone, London.
We welcome children from Pre-Nursery to Year 9, offering a caring and ambitious education from the early years through to secondary school.
EIFA combines the French programme of the Éducation nationale with the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary programmes. Pupils learn in both French and English, gaining strong academic foundations alongside the confidence and skills needed for a global future.
We are proud of our inclusive and international community, where every child is supported to reach their potential. Our dedicated SEND Hub, specialist support, rich co-curricular programme and strong focus on sport, leadership and character development help pupils grow both in and beyond the classroom.
With a strong sense of community and our motto "Unleash Your Potential," EIFA aims to help every child learn, grow and thrive.

Educational principles
At EIFA, we believe children learn best when they feel supported, challenged and inspired. Our bilingual approach combines the French programme of the Éducation nationale with the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary programmes, giving pupils a strong academic foundation through two languages and two educational traditions.
French and English are part of everyday learning. Pupils use both languages to communicate, explore ideas and understand different cultures. This helps them become confident, flexible thinkers and prepares them for a global world.
We set high expectations while making learning active and engaging. Pupils are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, share ideas and think for themselves. We want children to enjoy learning and understand why it matters.
Education at EIFA goes beyond academic results. We develop confidence, independence, resilience and character, while supporting each child as an individual. Our diverse and international community helps pupils appreciate different cultures and viewpoints.
Our aim is simple: to give every child the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed at school and beyond.
School values
At EIFA, we believe a great education is about more than academic results. It is about helping children learn, grow and become confident in the world. Our pupils learn in both French and English through the French programme of the Éducation nationale and the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary programmes.
Our five core values — curiosity, determination, cooperation, respect and responsibility — shape everyday life at EIFA. We encourage children to ask questions, explore ideas and think for themselves. We teach them to persevere, learn from mistakes and take pride in their achievements.
We believe children learn well when they work together. Pupils learn to listen, share ideas and value different views and cultures. We also help them become responsible and independent, with a strong sense of respect for themselves and others.
Our aim is to develop the whole child. Alongside strong academic foundations, we build confidence, resilience, character and a love of learning.
At EIFA, we help every child learn, grow and unleash their potential.

Information about the school-family relationship
At EIFA, our families are an important part of school life. EIFA Parents, our active parent association, helps create a warm, welcoming and truly international community.
They play an important role in helping new families settle in, making connections and helping everyone feel at home. Throughout the year, they organise social events for both children and adults, as well as a range of activities that bring families together.
EIFA Parents also help us celebrate the life of our school and support many of our events and activities. Their energy, enthusiasm and commitment make a real difference.
We are proud to have a parent community that is welcoming, involved and supportive — and that makes EIFA feel like much more than a school.

Attention to Diversity at EIFA International School London
Information about the curricular adaptation of the EIFA International School London
At EIFA, we believe every child has unique strengths, talents, and potential. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where every pupil is understood, supported, and encouraged to become the best version of themselves.
Our dedicated SEND Hub provides targeted support for pupils with additional needs, working closely with teachers, pupils, and families to ensure that each child can access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.
We offer 1:1 SEND support, tailored interventions, and dedicated SEND breakout sessions, alongside support for pupils learning English as an additional language (EAL). We also have in-house Speech and Language Therapists, whom we directly engage to provide specialist support when needed.
We believe inclusion means recognising that every child learns differently. Rather than expecting every pupil to follow exactly the same path, we adapt our support to help each individual build confidence, develop independence, and reach their potential.
Our approach is simple: Unleash Your Potential
We want every child to discover what they can do, develop the confidence to overcome challenges, and have the support they need to thrive. Because success looks different for every child — and at EIFA, every child deserves the opportunity to flourish.

Technology with Purpose
At EIFA, we believe technology should support learning, not replace it. Our pupils develop the digital skills they need for the 21st century, while we take a careful and balanced approach to screen time.
In the primary years especially, learning is not centred around screens. Pupils learn through books, discussion, practical activities, writing, play and hands-on experiences, with technology used when it adds real value.
Our aim is to give children the best of both worlds: the digital skills they need for the future, alongside the focus, creativity, communication and real-world experiences that come from learning beyond a screen.
