AESA Prep Academy of Barcelona is a US high school in the Pedralbes district of Barcelona, Spain, for international students in grades 8 to 12. It opened in 2016 and was formally recognised under its present name in June 2020, carrying over the founding idea behind the group's original campus in Austin, Texas: that a demanding education and a serious commitment to sport, the arts or another passion need not be mutually exclusive. AESA now runs three campuses - Austin, an online programme and Barcelona. The Barcelona school is deliberately small, pairing small classes with individual academic support in a flexible model aimed at high-achieving scholars, athletes and artists. Tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year is 15,000 euros.

Each year students take four core subjects: literature, mathematics, science and social studies. Across their high school years they also cover world languages, fine arts, physical education, health, communication and a range of electives chosen around their interests. The mathematics sequence runs from Algebra 1 through geometry, Algebra 2 and pre-calculus to calculus. Science covers biology, chemistry, physics and environmental science, and social studies covers geography, world and US history, government and economics. Fine arts include world music and music and art appreciation, while communication covers journalism and creative writing.
