DPS International School (DPSIS) has served Singapore's expatriate community since 2004 from its campus in Kovan, with a second campus on Alexandra Road. It combines Indian and Cambridge curricula from Nursery to Grade 12, so families can follow the CISCE pathway (ICSE and ISC) or the Cambridge pathway (IGCSE and AS & A Levels).

The kindergarten (Nursery, K1 and K2) welcomes children from the age of two and builds early literacy, numeracy and motor skills through activity-based learning. From Grade 1 families choose between the Indian curriculum, leading to the ICSE examination in Grade 10 and the ISC in Grade 12, and Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary, leading to IGCSE in Grades 9 and 10 and Cambridge AS and A Levels in Grades 11 and 12. Subjects in the senior years range from physics, chemistry and biology to economics, business studies, accounting, environmental management, global perspectives and computer science.

All co-curricular and extra-curricular activities take place within the school day and every student takes part. Grades 1 to 9 choose clubs such as fireless cooking, reading, drama and theatre, debate, public speaking, financial literacy and animation, while Grades 10 to 12 join clubs on entrepreneurship, sustainability, cybersecurity and web design, mindfulness or STEAM. The ECA programme covers vocal and keyboard music, rhythmic gymnastics, taekwondo, football, classical dance, cricket, yoga, inline skating, Zumba, basketball, robotics and coding, and chess.

A transport partner runs air-conditioned school buses across the island, and books and uniforms are sold on campus. Students can apply for merit, achievement and means-tested scholarships that reduce tuition by up to 25%. Support includes small-group remedial lessons, peer mentoring, life-skills workshops and a team of counsellors and psychologists, and from middle school onwards students receive career counselling and help with university applications and SAT or UCAT preparation.

Information about the facilities of the DPS International School
The 240,000 sq ft green campus in Kovan has a dedicated ground for football and cricket, two basketball courts, a futsal court with six cricket nets and a covered stage seating 1,000 people that doubles as a multi-purpose hall. Indoors there are separate kindergarten, primary and secondary blocks, primary and secondary computer labs, a 3D lab, physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, a dance studio, a music room, an art and craft room and a library. All classrooms are air-conditioned and fitted with interactive smart boards, and the school also has indoor and outdoor play stations, a health room with a doctor, a vegetarian canteen and a book and uniform shop.
