An outstanding school - caring, knowledgeable and hard working teachers, a lush green campus setting, articulate, well-mannered students and supported by Wellington College (UK) - one of the great British independent schools that consistently achieves outstanding A-level and IB results and an incredible track record of enabling students to go on to further study at some of the worlds greatest universities, including Oxbridge and Ivy league institutions.

Wellington is an excellent school with one of the best campuses in the city. Since opening in August 2018 WCIB has grown and is now running 3 form entry in most year groups. Great staff, great students, great built environment and fantastic values.

Great school overall. My daughter has improved a lot since starting at Wellington College. I'm impressed with their professional staff and their facilities are most likely the best in Thailand. They make it fun for the kids to learn and stay motivated. I strongly recommend this school.

When it comes to choosing a school for our children, "best" is a relative term but growing up and educated in the US, observed and directly experienced 3 International schools and visited numerous over the last 5 years here in Thailand, this is the first review am writing, only because I don't like writing "not so good" review. Differences with WCIB Disclaimer: Please remember, these are personal experiences & observations. 1. Most importantly first and foremost, my child has been happy and thriving at WCIB. We went from not so good school reports and teachers dancing around how to tell me my child's short comings to teachers celebrating his achievements and highlighting his strengths but frank about his areas to work on. And so far, no bullying, as my child has not once yet come home from school saying "everyone hates me" like he used to do every other week at other school(s). He is happy, we are happy. 2. Academically, WCIB seemed to have adapted to its locale (Thailand/Asia) very well in terms of knowing and serving the market and its customers. They seem to embrace Thai language culture well providing 5 days a week Thai lessons with 1 of the 5 days being a cultural lesson. They also provide 2 days a week plus up to 2 days a week enrichment for Mandarin. WCIB has shown to be very serious about the Thai and Chinese programs and the teachers seems to be paying close attention to my child as an individual and are very much willing to work directly with me on my child. 3. WCIB really welcomes and embrace its customers, the parent community. We certainly always felt welcome being at the school, which is not always the case with all schools. WCIB is has a professional and disciplined feel as UK based school but not snooty. WCIB is building a very close knit community with all the parents and focuses on building the school spirit and pride of the houses our children belong to, executing on their "All inclusive" core value. We have chatroom with the key management of the school including the headmasters and head of admissions among others to communicate/interact/respond /verify/validate any comments/concerns/questions/suggestions from the parents in appropriate time frame, just-in-time communication. WCIB encouraged parents to organize an official parent community group call Friends of Wellington (FoW) that has self-management autonomy which can organize events and activities that aligns with the school goals and objectives in concert with the school and to further understand their customers' needs. And so far, from my experience, WCIB is actively listening. WCIB have set up an intramural sports program with parents and staffs as well as help support relevant seminars for the parents about useful topics like education and children related topics. They have organized the facility on campus(lobby, coffee shop, sports facilities) to welcome and encourage the parents to come and gather at the school to forward the community, socialize, network etc. They welcome parents to be involved as opposed to other school(s) where parents were encouraged to STAY AWAY and/or had very little support to network with other parents. As parents, we feel like we are valued customers, not only because we see our child being valued, we actually experienced good customer service, WCIB chasing after us to serve our needs while at other school(s), often times we were chasing after them. Bottom line: After 2 terms, WCIB has not given us any reason to look elsewhere. WCIB have lived up to what they have advertised so far and then some and best of all, our child is much happier and thriving here. So for us, WCIB is the right and best school for our child, so far. Of course nothing is perfect, there are certainly issues like any schools or organizations but for being in their first year, things have gone very smoothly from our experience...much better than expected and we commend WCIB, the staffs and management as well as the parent community! But don't take my words for it, find time to go check out WCIB!!
