Oaktree is definitely a community focused school. We are a family and it feels that way - even during COVID and distance learning, the OPS team cares about our children and the parents. We have had our ups and downs, hustling to be COVID compliant and adapting with the ever changing environment - but with a leadership team like ours, I have no doubt that we will only move from strength to strength. I love the focus OPS has on the individuality of our children as well as developing a love of reading. OPS is a community school that lives our principals and that is evident in the holistic approach to education (academic, emotional, social, physical).

Oaktree have faced what would be seen as setbacks for most schools due to Covid, but they have shown resilience and done their best to provide quality online schooling during the pandemic along with a safe, secure environment for the children when they returned to school. Having smaller class numbers has assisted my son with his educational and emotional needs. The faculty know the children by name, including the principal, this gives you the feeling that the children are cared for and not just a number.

I think you have to show more respect to parents , nobody answers the phone, nobody replies to email , this is my son first year at the school, i think you will make regret to join him with your school .
