Great International school. A real IB Middle years program. Kids acquire great organizational habits as well as acquire independent learning skills. Years later, my kids never need to be pushed to learn. And they also acquired great mental math skills. They offer Japanese and Mandarin as a second language. The Gr.4 & 5 camps are exciting, usually in a nature reserve and the beach, whilst Gr.6 kids travel to Xian for a week (stay at the Hyatt) and have a fabulous and safe time away from their comfort zone- a real growing up experience. They come back very independent. Swimming is part of the curriculum and they have great facilities: indoor heated pool, track, rock climbing wall, football pitch, kitchen, indoor court, music room and music program, etc. They offer great extra activities too, like gymnastics, football, rugby, sailing in Sai Kung etc. They have a wadaiko drumming band- so awesome. They also have great access to Science Park, Tolo harbour, Tai Po nature reserve, jungle trekking, monkeys etc. The air quality is literally fresher than in the rest of HK because of the surrounding forests and the water from Tolo harbour. Mostly British teachers, a few Europeans (apart from Brit), Aussies and Canadians.
