The students are good and the teachers are great with building relationships and engaging the students. However the management is inexperienced at running the school and dealing with employee affairs. Many good teachers have left the school because of pressure from the management.

After the school principal changed in 2020 and the principal's sister left for further studies from being a teacher the school went downhill. The toilets are not maintained well, the rules are changed when one student breaks it and in turn affecting everyone else. This is not the same Havil from 2019, its very bad in terms of management, but the teachers are genuinely good, and that is the only pillar holding this play apart.

It’s out run by inexperienced people basically a family business. No proper facility & ECA really a joke like table setting etc. The worst of all is the primary principal treat some kids as 2nd class & some race superior.

Havil International in Brickfields is a truly lousy school as they have promised better facilities and expansion plans but have since quietly taken down the boards and such. They increased the school fees without giving better facilities and their management in the school is run by the family of the founder with NO experience whatsoever. As a ex parent who sent my children there, I was disgusted on how they quietly pretended that the expansion plans never existed or promised and the facilities are next to none without a proper field, or hall. They make students stand in the middle of the courtyard in the sun! New teachers without experience and the principal of the school is the daughter of the founder (surprise!) and another daughter a teacher. The 2 sons who used to work in the school taking some classes did not even complete their tertiary education! Recently charged an EXTRA RM780.00 for extra curricular activities like sports day and neighbourhood excursions around Brickfields (where they are) and the cost is unjustified as I suspect they are charging more for their own personal funding and self interest. The school has not spent anything for the children facilities like a proper lab and facilities but spent the money on the teachers lounge and library (housed within the same building). Many staffs have left and there is never good things to say about them. Avoid this school!! It may be cheaper then the rest but the people in there will paint you roses and in the end you will get the short end of the stick in terms of facilities, experienced teachers and management.
