As a family residing in Istanbul with a strong educational background from Lebanon, I confidently consider Aljazari International School as the top choice among international schools in the city. While all schools in Istanbul received accreditation from the Ministry of Education four years ago, Aljazari stands out as one of the finest, despite being relatively young. While acknowledging both its strengths and areas for improvement, we believe it is a promising institution striving for excellence. Our experience as parents working closely with the school's academic and administrative teams has been highly satisfactory. We appreciate the school's responsiveness and collaborative approach. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Aljazari International School and rate it 4 stars, confident that it will earn 5 stars in the near future.

While the internal physical facilities of this school is impressive, this school has a reputation for being incredibly biased towards teachers and very professional at marketing on the contrary to what the school says, incompetent and a fraud. This school's academic director has been and still is biased towards its teachers, this led to most of the k12 teachers leave towards the end of the academic year 2021 - 2022. Not to mention the fact that he unofficially expelled a student without any legal or official statement after some the student's classmates stole the final exam papers based on a mistake said student had done and framed him as the one responsible for a crime he did not commit. Those responsible for cheating in the finals were never given any formal or minor form of punishment or condemned in anyway, but were also allowed to pass and are now seniors of Al-Jazari atakent branch Furthermore the school has a reputation for not formally dealing with issues such as bullying and attending to the students mental health but rather they focus on maintaining there so called "public image" by enforcing uniforms (which always fails), making promises that they are punctual (when most parents have to wait for 1h to attend a scheduled appointment or urgent matter) and expel, fire or harasses any honest person that can be a threat to the "School's reputation", or as I would put it (and I am sure that the Al-Jazari Fatih Academic manager would agree) "Al Jazari Atakent's Academic manager's reputation" The reality is is that this school is nothing short of a front to generate income to a set of corrupt individuals who tried and are trying to achieve there ends by any means, even if it means putting down it's good students, harassing employees or lying to the parents of students in the school. in addition to my comment I warn the parents who are enrolling their children at this school, 90 to 95% of the 5 star comments are made by people in administration or teachers who were forced to put a 5-star rating.

The school is founded by Turkish founders and has a strong emphasize on science and technology. I think it is the only international school in Istanbul with Science and Technology focus. They have unique labs for robotics, maker lab (first time see), chemistry, science and computers. Also there is a massive sports center as well as a swimming pool for the children. The ethnical diversity is good considering Istanbul's diversity percentage (mostly Arabic students, others from Russia, Iran, North Africa, few Chinese students as well as European students. There are Christian students and teachers too which is a big plus for the international community. Education from Kindergarten to is offered.

When I came to Aljazari, and heard the promises made by administration. I was excited. Although I had recently moved from Canada which is very different, I was open minded and ready to experience new things. Sadly, that excitement has been falling off slowly upon attending the Summer School academic course, which turned out to be the MOST useless course I have attended in my life, it was completely disorganized, a MAJOR waste of time, and was nothing more than an ice breaker for your peers, nothing to help EDUCATE. However I still had hope and thought the school itself would be better, but I was completely wrong. Once summer ended and school started we had orientation week which was a very short day that was to assess students levels within the school. Once school has truly started (Around the 2nd month), everything was a disaster. I found out that this school is built on nothing but uniforms and trying to make their public image look good to attract parents, when in reality the education of this school is that of an 8th grader (Im in the 10th grade). Overall, to sum up my points, this school is very VERY unprofessional with its administration being hypocritical, arrogant, ignorant, and only show attention towards insignificant things such as a uniform rather than things such as the students mental health, or working to fix their education. If you want to attend a school that has good education, great administration, good technology and science, do not attend Aljazari school. It has also been revealed that 90% of 5-star google reviews on the website are made by teachers and administration themselves by force.

This school is a joke! The principal treats students like they're animals, the teachers do not care about their students whatsoever, and there's no supervising whatsoever! My son keeps getting bullied and we've reported several times but no actions were taken. They took advantage of us new immigrants. I absolutely do not recommend this school to anyone.

I am proud to be a part of the Aljazari academic family. Despite the difficult and challenging circumstances that the whole world faced this past year, we managed a good first year. I look forward to an even better second year in which we learn and grow together.

My children LOVE this school – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Aljazari integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons.
