We joined Academia School from it very early stages and both our boys stayed for 7 years. Over those years It sometimes was difficult, but we always had a good feeling about the approach and commitment the school has as well as a philosophy of creating ownership with the children. Last year we moved away from Switzerland and into a new school system in the netherlands. It was a test to what our boys had actually learned at Academia. Especially a change of language along with it created some concern with us as parents. We were pleased to discover this concern was unwarranted. Boys our boys passed the highest level of schooling (VWO) in the Netherlands with excellent grades in their first year back. Besides the language challenge they also had a Corona challenge to overcome. I believe this is a testament to the strong educational experience both our boys got at Academia. Having had the both the academic freedom as well as the ownership discipline, it clearly equipped them for this new challenge. We are grateful for the time we had at Academia International School.

We could not be happier with Academia Bilingual school! It is a relatively new little school which has been growing a lot in the past few years. It is well organized, with a familiar feel, lovely premises and an amazing art studio. The teachers and the headmaster really go over and beyond to make sure all children thrive, learn well and behave well. The school is inclusive and attention is given to all children, in collaboration with the families. Very recommended.

Best school ever! Our daughter has just finished her first year in College with excellent grades! She went through the whole academia Bilingual School, teachers are amazing, the academic level is great, the familiar atmosphere without this enormous pressure is a relief for children and parents. My son is still in the Bilingual School and do you know what: He enjoys the school every day and so we as parents.

Moving to Basel from the UK was full surprises and unforeseen complications, luckily the school was certainly not one of them. Looking at several schools in the area ais appealed because of its more intimate size and its bilingual philosophy. Our children have been at the school for a while now and I am very happy. More importantly my children are very happy. Choosing this school has certainly softened the blow of the stress of moving to a new country. I feel the teachers genuinely care about both the academic and personal development of students , with very good feedback. I am also VERY happy with their new language skills. I would recommend Academia International School to any one of my personal friends if they were to relocate here in Basel.
