India International School in Japan (IISJ) was created to fill a strong need. It has been a solid rock for the Indian Diaspora that has sought to put roots down in Japan. Much like the Diaspora it serves, IISJ’s next step is to also put down its own roots: our goal is the construction of our very own school building, a permanent home. Under the guidance of founder Nirmal Jain, the school started with an initial enrollment of 27 in 2004 in a small office building. As the years went by, the enrollment increased as did the size of the office buildings. Enrollment was about 800 students.

I took the SAT here. There was a soccer game going on outside which was incredibly loud and there were major WIFI issues as well which disrupted many's testing experience. Proctors phones as well were buzzing in class, which caused a disturbance. The SAT is expensive, and we can take it only so many times, so this was one of the worst testing experiences I have ever been through. Do not take the SAT here.

The best school I've ever been to. I was a student here for 5-6 years and had a blast everyday. There is not a single aspect of the school I disliked. From the teachers to the gymnasium, everything was awesome. I would definitely recommend this school to others
